Abstract

Establishes the efficacy and sustainability of wetlands and soil-aquifer treatments leading to indirect potable water reuse. Generates practical tools with which to assess water quality and to gauge compliance with regulatory reuse criteria. Research partners: SROG, LACSD, and USEPA. Phase I was published in 2001 as Soil Aquifer Treatment for Sustainable Water Reuse and includes a CD-ROM. Phase II was published in 2006 as Advances in Soil Aquifer Treatment for Sustainable Water Reuse.
