Abstract

Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are a growing concern because of their potential negative effects on the environment and human health. The research included in this publication characterizes the fate of VOCs in a wide variety of wastewater collection and treatment processes and will expand the reader’s understanding of VOC mass transfer in these processes. Provides numerous benefits to those challenged with controlling and reporting VOC emissions from their wastewater facilities to regulatory authorities and the concerned public.
