          Abstract
Evaluates membrane treatment as an option to produce potable water economically from winter irrigation return flows. Identifies the reliability and administration of the impaired source waters, conducts a pilot study to confirm the production-level costs and feasibility of the process, and identifies the options for beneficial reuse of the concentrate waters by the nearby agricultural community. Tailored collaboration partner: El Paso Water Utilities. Published in 2011.
