Abstract

This project increases our understanding of the direct and indirect costs (e.g., financial, environmental, societal) associated with pipe breaks. In additon to the report, a spreadsheet-based tool was developed to help utilities anticipate and manage the risk of pipe breaks. Research partners: WERF and EPA. Published in 2013.

As of February 2021, the Pipe Risk Screening Tool is no longer available.
