Proceedings of the 8th US-Taiwan-Japan Water System Seismic Practice

Abstract

This Conference is the 8th in a continuing series of technical interchanges originated by representatives from the East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD), the Water Research Foundation (WRF), and the Japan Water Works Association (JWWA) in 1998. Representatives from Water Works Association of The Republic of China (Taiwan) (CTWWA) participated in the conference for the first time in 2009. The focus is on sharing practical and useful information generated from experience and research that could enhance water system safety and reliability against earthquakes.
