Novel Techniques for Investigating Recharge to the Memphis Aquifer

Abstract

Develops a procedure for quantitatively assessing the magnitude of recharge through openings in the clay layer that confines much of the Memphis Aquifer. Provides an example that could be used by other utilities for planning or development of monitoring systems in the same region and similar geological settings. Tailored Collaboration partner: Memphis Light, Gas and Water. Published in 2006.
