Abstract

This manual is for users of activated sludge models. It provides information on the best methods to measure the wastewater characteristics and kinetic/stoichiometric parameters used in activated sludge models. The report also provides guidance and examples of how to incorporate these activated sludge models into computer simulations of treatment plant design and operation. Applying the methods described in this manual on-site could save the average mid- to large-size treatment plant millions of dollars in capital expenses. Published by WERF. 596 pages. PDF Only.
