Abstract
This report identifies a promising new method for wastewater treatment that can be achieved easily, consistently and without the need for special operating conditions. It also demonstrates that a well-designed membrane-aerated bioreactor can provide effective, long-term treatment of municipal wastewater. The process discussed yields decreased solids, improved nitrogen removal and chemical oxygen demand, and has low energy costs for aeration. Published by WERF. 310 pages. Soft cover.
