Abstract
Develops a methodology that will help utilities evaluate the condition of cast iron water mains by integrating metal loss measurements using nondestructive testing techniques with the strength of deteriorated cast iron water mains. Enables a quantitative assessment of water mains undergoing evaluation to determine the deferral of water main replacement. Published in 2000.
