Abstract

Develops a consensus on the optimum approach to development of a cell culture technique for determination of Cryptosporidium infectivity that is suitable for routine use in disinfection studies and general risk assessment. Also applies that technique in UV treatment disinfection studies at pilot and plant scale. Research partners: UKWIR, USEPA, UKDWI, WSSA (Australia), and Kiwa N.V. UKWIR published a report in 2008 that the Foundation has made available to its subscribers.
