Abstract

Determines the physicochemical, environmental, and pipe-specification parameters that influence the permeation of hydrocarbons through polyethylene and polyvinyl chloride pipes and pipe gasket materials under typically encountered field conditions. Develops laboratory tests to predict permeation of pipes and gaskets by hydrocarbons. Published in 2007.
