Abstract
This project investigated the effectiveness of widely-used treatment processes on the removal of endocrine disrupting compounds (EDCs), pharmaceuticals and personal care products (PPCPs), their daughter products, and residual endocrine activity from municipal water supplies. The project also explored the variability of removal of these compounds across waters from different sources and investigate the effectiveness of ozone and biological filtration at removing these compounds. Tailored Collaboration partner: Pawtucket Water Supply Board. Published in 2015.
