Abstract

This project investigated the effectiveness of full-scale conventional and advanced water treatment processes for the removal of unregulated organic chemicals such as endocrine disrupting compounds (EDCs), pharmaceuticals and personal care products (PPCPs), and industrial and household use organic chemicals. Tailored Collaboration partners: New Jersey Department Environmental Protection, Passaic Valley Water Commission, New Jersey Water Supply Authority, United Water New Jersey, and Brick Township Municipal Utilities Authority. Published in 2013.
