Commercialization of the Digital Leak Detector

Developed and tested a digital leak detector, with four sensors, for precisely locating pinhole leaks in utility distribution systems to allow for smaller, less expensive and invasive excavation. The detector did not seem to offer many advantages to the traditional leak detection method of acoustic cross correlation. However, it was more beneficial in natural gas and steam applications.
