National Database on Water Reuse Facilities

Abstract

As water supplies are increasingly taxed, the need to develop safe, reliable, alternative water resources is becoming increasingly apparent. As wastewater discharges are continuous and relatively well-controlled, recycled water derived from wastewater is a highly reliable water supply. Through this project, a comprehensive database of reuse programs and facilities in the United States was developed. Published in 2008.
