Research Impact
This purpose of this project was to enhance the current standard pipeline design specification for steel pipes. The existing design criteria for large-diameter steel pipes are dated and based on classical elastic equations. The computer modeling capabilities are much improved, allowing for superior designs. Tailored collaboration partner: Tarrant Regional Water District. Published in 2019.
