Research Impact
Conducts a state-of-the-art literature review of non-interruptive condition assessment inspection devices for large diameter transmission mains (greater than 12 inches). Also conducts an expert workshop to review buried asset condition assessment research needs and performance of existing technologies. Considers the possible development of new technologies capable of in-service condition assessment of water transmission mains, as well as the relevant cost and performance guidelines. Published in 2004.
