Project 4494: A Framework for Assessing the Costs and Benefits of Managing Compounds of Emerging Concern in Surface WaterThis is an interim deliverable for WRF project 4494. The objective of this project is to help broaden the current regulatory perspective on controlling compounds of emerging concern (CECs) in the United States by summarizing and comparing the initiatives different countries are undertaking. This report will provide a common knowledge basis to aid in future discussions among U.S. and international stakeholders on the effectiveness, implementation, and direct and indirect costs of different CEC management approaches.
