Workshop Summary: Effective Utility Management Benchmarking - Current Practice and Future Opportunities

This project convened a workshop with the purpose of engaging water utilities to become more aware of the Performance Benchmarking for Effectively Managed Water Utilities Tool, developed through WRF project #4313, and its capabilities. The use of the Tool was demonstrated at the workshop and utilities that participated in project #4313 presented their experience using the Tool, including their drivers, challenges, and benefits. The Tool is available on the WRF website on the 4313 project page along with the project report and other supporting materials, including a recommended process for conducting EUM-based self-assessment. The workshop was convened at the International Water Association (IWA) International Conference on Water Efficiency and Performance Assessment of Water Services in Cincinnati, Ohio.
