Abstract

Evaluates full-scale chlorine dioxide preoxidation at an ozonation plant in terms of its ability to improve coagulation and turbidity removal, control biological growth in basins, and reduce the overall oxidant demand prior to ozonation, thereby reducing disinfection by-products formation.
