Abstract

The Tool for Evaluating Resource Recovery – Phosphorus (aka the TERRY Tool) can help utilities assess their plant’s potential to recover phosphorus. TERRY can provide utilities with a quick and straight-forward idea of whether or not nutrient recovery may be viable at a specific facility. It can provide a rough estimate of the capital costs and the operating and maintenance costs of the system, as well as providing insight into non-cost factors such as environmental and social factors.
