Abstract

This subcontract will support Pacific Northwest National Laboratory’s (PNNL) Department of Energy Bioenergy Technology Office (BETO)-funded project "Waste to Energy: Cost-Benefit Analysis of Upgrades to POTW Waste Aggregation Infrastructure for Energy Production and Resource Recovery.” This effort includes the systematic characterization of the U.S. publically owned treatment works (POTWs) infrastructure. This information will enable identification of potential opportunities/insertion points for infrastructure enhancement (capital investment/operational changes, etc.) to achieve increased biofuel production and resource recovery.

Originally funded as WERF project LIFT23C18.
