Abstract

This project determined the effectiveness and sustainability of naturally occurring alumina, iron, and manganese oxides in the unsaturated zone to treat high-arsenic water, and developed a methodology to transfer the technique to areas having high-arsenic water. Tailored collaboration partner: Los Angeles County DPW - Waterworks District. Published in 2015.
