Abstract

Pilot-tests the new generation of polymeric ligand exchanger (PLE) developed in Phase I and optimizes operating parameters such as empty-bed-contact-time, superficial liquid velocity, and column configuration. Examines treatment and reuse of the spent brine along with stabiliziation of waste residuals. Research partner: AWTP. Published in 2009.
