Abstract

Further develops and demonstrates the performance of Fe and Ti impregnated GACs for removing arsenic and organic contaminants. Optimizes the best-performing iron impregnation process from Phase I, impregnates titanium into GAC and compares performance to iron GAC, verifies that lab RSSCTs are valid for metal-impregnated GACs, and develops recommendations for water utilities.
