Abstract
Evaluates and recommends accelerated material life testing methods for buried polyethylene (PE) pipes. Reports the field performance of PE pipes that have been in service for approximately 30 years. Also develops life expectancy methodologies to enable utilities to predict the long-term performance of PE pipes. Research partner: CSIRO. Published in 2007.
