Abstract

Determines the inactivation efficiencies of conventional and newly developing chemical disinfection processes (free chlorine, chloramines, ozone, chlorine dioxide, UV) for emerging waterborne pathogens (Adenovirus 40, feline calicivirus, Mycobacterium fortuitum, Legionella pneumophila, Microsporidia). Research partner: USEPA. Published in 2002.
