Abstract

This project conducted a test of reduction-coagulation membrane filtration (RCMF), a modified RCF process for Cr(VI) removal using chlorine for oxidation and shorter reduction times, both of which are important conditions for implementing this process for typical groundwater wells. This modified RCF process was developed from bench-scale work performed in WRF Project #4445. This project also explored brine reuse and alternative brine management optimization for SBA treatment technology. Tailored collaboration partner: Coachella Valley WD.

The results of this project were published in 2016 and can be found on the 4445 project page.
