Research Impact

This project originally produced the Dynamic Load Analysis Tool, a CD-ROM software product that included a decision framework and analytical tools. The software allowed the user to implement methods for assessing permits and limits for fluctuating loads. The CD-ROM software is no longer available.

The PDF reports that accompanied this software are provided below: Volume 1: Technical Guidance and Software provides information on how to improve implementation of existing water quality criteria and is to be used in conjunction with the software. The software User’s Guide is found in Chapter 9. Volume 2: Alternate Frameworks for Water Quality Criteria presents a methodology that allows criteria and standards to reflect site specific conditions and biological response factors.

Originally funded as WERF project 98-HHE-3.
