Abstract

This report provides data from ten successfully operated, long-term biosolids land application programs. The purpose of this effort is to document and demonstrate actual effects of long-term biosolids application on crop yields, crop contaminant uptake, soil characteristics, groundwater quality, surface water quality, and any other human health or environmental concerns. Existing biosolids application programs can benefit from this report, as well as those considering implementation of a land application program utilizing compost, chemically stabilized or heat-dried products.
