Abstract

Defines the potential costs of compliance due to a lower arsenic (As) maximum contaminant level (MCL) due to increased residual generation and disposal costs. Provides a more accurate cost of compliance estimate for water utility systems operating numerous wells where the As concentration is not uniform. Research partners: USEPA and ACWA. Completed in 2000. Foundation subscribers can download this Web-only report.
