This report organizes the processes or technologies for biosolids and residuals management at wastewater treatment facilities into three levels of development: 1) Embryonic, tested at laboratory or bench-scale only; 2) Innovative, tested at demonstration scale, or has some level of initial use; and 3) Established, applied at several full-scale operations in North America.
