Abstract

This project identified benefits, problems, and challenges experienced by utilities that have implemented conservation programs, and the best practices used to enhance the benefits and mitigate the problems and challenges. The report provides utilities with useful reference data and recommendations to develop proactive water conservation approaches that maximize benefits while minimizing potential unintended consequences.  Published in 2012.
