Abstract

Investigates effects of treatment plant sludges on a variety of receiving waters by means of laboratory and field-scale evaluation of the impact of sludge on the aquatic environment and the solubilization kinetics of aluminum hydroxide sludges. Studies four field locations for the impacts of alum sludges on benthic macroinvertebrate communities. Published in 1991.
