Research Impact

This final report and software package provides a new methodology for aquatic ecological risk assessment. This three-tiered methodology, which has been accepted by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, performs probabilistic risk assessment, quantitative uncertainty analysis, assessments of multiple chemicals, and community-level risk assessments. The report includes case study applications, and the accompanying software and user's manual aid the risk manager with computationally complex aspects of the risk assessment. The software will not run on Macintosh computers. Published by WERF. 228 pages plus 3 1/2" PC disk. Soft cover.

Originally funded as WERF project 91-AER-1.
