Abstract
Studies the effect of oxidants on particle stability. Determines the mechanisms of oxidant-enhanced particle removal and the conditions under which it will occur. Also develops a model for predicting whether a given water will be susceptible to oxidant-enhanced particle removal. Develops design and operating criteria for oxidant enhanced particle removal to occur. Published in 2004.
