Abstract
Develops tools to help utilities evaluate the efficiency of UV treatment and retrofit UV disinfection into existing surface water treatment plants. Emphasizes how to minimize both the risks and costs associated with UV as well as fundamental design issues central to incorporating UV disinfection systems into existing facilities. Includes a CD-ROM. Research partner: USEPA. Published in 2005.
