This project developed a UV disinfection knowledge base that incorporates utility experiences with facility operation and maintenance issues, design, validation, performance, costs, lamp breakage/aging, and lessons learned. The project also examined the prevention and control of mercury release from UV lamp breakage. Published in 2012.
