Abstract
Updates the 1987 manual Water Treatment Plant Waste Management (see project #112). Includes information on the impacts of new regulations (e.g., new Filter Backwash Rule) and treatment goals on residuals processes, the advent of treatment technologies (e.g., enhanced coagulation, desalination), as well as information on beneficial applications of residuals. Also highlights the critical findings of all Foundation residuals research projects completed since publication of the original manual. Published in 2006.
