Abstract

The goal of this project was to evaluate scientifically proven methods for integrity monitoring of RO membranes for a 4 log or greater verification of microorganisms including viruses. Such a method will assist regulatory agencies in potentially providing microbial removal credits for RO systems. Specifically, the researchers sought provide a better understanding of the performance of integrity monitoring methods for widespread application in the industry. Published by WRF. 110 pages.
