Pathogen Revolution: The Bugs We Thought We Knew and the Ones We Never Thought About!

Webcast
Description

Join The Water Research Foundation for a Moment of Science as we kick off a webcast series celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the Paul L. Busch (PLB) Award, which recognizes innovative research in the field of water quality and the water environment. This event will be a fireside chat featuring four past winners of the Paul L. Busch Award who will discuss next-generation metagenomics and the pathogen revolution. Specific topics include molecular tools and biomarker responses, next-generation DNA sequencing-based tools for pathogens and antibiotic-resistant genes, virus methods, and low-cost and real-time characterization of microbial communities in the engineered water cycle.
