COVID-19 Wastewater Surveillance Symposium – A Global Update
In April 2020, The Water Research Foundation (WRF) convened global leaders in an international summit to identify best practices and high-priority research needs around wastewater-based epidemiology (WBE) in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Because WBE approaches have continued to develop over the past 12 months, WRF convened a follow-up global symposium to share updates on WBE activities from around the world, with a focus on how this information is being used to support health agencies in their COVID-19 response. The symposium also included a panel discussion and audience Q&A.
