Abstract

Utilization of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) Approach for Evaluating Integrity of Treatment Barriers for Reuse evaluated, pilot tested, and tailored an HACCP approach for microbial control in U.S. reclaimed water systems, including consideration of the benefits and disadvantages of adopting this approach. Introducing HACCP to water reuse is meant to achieve and assure continuous and reliable end-product water quality through process management. Co-sponsored by U.S. Bureau of Reclamation and the California State Water Resources Control Board.

Originally funded as WERF project Reuse-09-03.
