Abstract
This report provides information to help regulators evaluate how well risk assessment works in setting biosolids-metals standards. Also relates information on the protection of soils, plants, and animals for confidence in risk assessment-based concept of "exceptional quality" biosolids. Management practices for safe use of biosolids on cattle-grazing pastures are included, as well as a detailed examination of biosolids molybdenum and copper reactions and transfers to soil, plant, and animal systems.
