Abstract

Conducts an extensive literature review on the known toxicity of EDCs and pharmaceuticals including naturally occurring EDCs and pharmaceutically active compounds. Analyzes various raw and finished drinking waters for a suite of EDCs and pharmaceuticals, and screens various bottled waters, beverages, and food products. Also uses an in vitro bioassay to assess the estrogenicity of various waters, beverages, and foods. Conducts risk assessments for chemicals of interest based on findings.
