Identifies water quality and other factors that promote the formation of nitrosamines during disinfection of drinking water. Uses bench-scale tests to develop strategies and methods to minimize the formation of nitrosamines during chloramination and chlorination. Research partner: TZW (Germany). Published in 2008.
