Abstract

Conducts a North American assessment of distribution system, treatment plant, and plumbing equipment failures that occur as a result of water quality adjustments made for corrosion control. Focuses on distribution systems and plant infrastructure to include valves, meters, impellers, hot water systems, and pumps. Also assesses the extent of in-house plumbing problems resulting from implementing corrosion control strategies. Published in 2010.
