Abstract

Improves the drinking water community's understanding of total chloro-s-triazine occurrence and control. Assesses the likely consequences to utilities from a revised drinking water standard. Develops recommendations on sampling program designs to support alternative frameworks for a revised drinking water standard. Evaluates the suitability of immunoassay test methods for compliance or routine monitoring by water utilities. Also evaluates the effectiveness of various activated carbon-based treatment methods to remove atrazine and its degradate compounds from drinking water supplies.
