This report relates future research needs in the area of wastewater resource utilization. Specialists from academia, industry, and government met with the objective of determining a number of research projects for consideration for immediate funding by not-for-profit funding organizations and government. This report looks toward the future, anticipating the benefits of the scientific and engineering discoveries and advances that are occurring today and knowing that these projects could harness new and future technologies to map wastewater treatment for the next generation.
