Abstract
Investigates the ability of a biofilter to remove natural organic matter (NOM) and assesses the likely benefits of reducing NOM by biodegradation. Also investigates preozonation and NOM biodegradation to determine optimal ozone doses. Evaluates sand as a support medium for the microbiological population. Published in 1995.
